RICKY'S DREAM TRIP THROUGH THE SOLAR SYSTEM is about a little boy whose grandfather (Pop Pop) enters his dream. They board a dream rocket ship and tour the solar system planet by planet. The concept of the book is to open the minds of elementary school children about the eight planets and our dwarf planet. Once the imagination of the children is piqued through this very personal vignette, it is anticipated that parents and educators will be able to expand and build upon their interest to learn more about astronomy and our relationship to the universe.
