As a recently retired Registered Nurse of 24 years I have started writing stories for children's magazines. I have been fortunate enough to have one published in Winner Magazine. I have also completed a manuscript about the nursing profession.
Aside from that I am also venturing in to an amateur detective series, where the main character is, of course, from a nursing background.
My other interests in writing are on small business ventures. Having had several opportunities to create more traditional "store front" style businesses I have also written books related to finding ideas for, and creating, profitable small business ventures.
I own, and write copy for, a nursing resource web site, as well as two blogs. The first is about the present circumstances of our health care systems and how it is affecting the nursing profession (http://.nightingalelost.blogspot.com). The second is on weight management where I help people focus on finding the lifestyle they truly wish to live. The weight will fall and stabilize once you find, and start living, that lifestyle.
