Richard Hayward

Rich Hayward was born in Queens New York and grew up in Bay Ridge Brooklyn, graduating from Bishop Ford High School in 1976. He went on to college at the State University of New York at New Paltz and enlisted in the U.S. Navy serving in California, New Zealand, Newport Rhode Island and Antarctica. He "Wintered-Over" (spent the year there) in McMurdo Station, Antarcitica during 1982. He had a prosperous career as a REALTOR and Lender for 25 years. Writing wasn't much more than a hobby until September of 2009 when he dedicated himself full time to being an author. He and his wife Kristine live in Central Florida, with their 5 children, Ashley 25, Harrison 22, Alex 22, Justine 15, and Samuel 13. He is a graduate of Eckerd College in St. Petersburg, Fla.
