I not only reached the goal of weighing less than 190 pounds, I exceeded it. I now weigh only 176 pounds and have kept to watching what I eat and try to work out at least 2 days a week. As far as the sequel goes, I am at the end of the first draft, yet the ending is still not right.

Well, after seeing myself on the six o'clock news, I have decided I need to lose some weight. So this week I begin a six week training program. It calls for some change in habits that will be hard to break and of course the hour long workouts that are scheduled for Tuesdays and Saturdays. I weighed in today at a hefty 232 lbs my ultimate goal is to be under 190. So for the next six weeks, I will put the vampire talk on the shelf. One thing I have learned about publishing is that there is thousands of very talented writers out there that never get their creative work published. What is the answer? Like my favorite band once sang, you just have to "Keep Pushin" Thanks for the inspiration KC and the rest of the REO Speedwagon band.

When I wrote SOA, it seemed as if the story just flowed to me, as if the characters were telling me what should happen next. The second book has been much more difficult, now i see my characters looking at me, like they are asking me what happens next.
A week off from the job that actually pays me, gave me time to think and I at least now feel like they have shown me a path to take.
I have never blogged before... can someone tell me if I am doing it right?
