- Lights, Camera...YOU! Make money doing TV commercials in Los Angeles or Any Town, USA

ADMIT IT… How many times have you sat in front of the television, watching commercials and thinking to yourself, “I could do that!”? Perhaps you’ve secretly fantasized about being an actor at some point in your life. The beauty of acting in commercials is that you don’t have to live in Los Angeles, New York or Chicago…or even be an actor! You, too, can make money in commercials.
After appearing in over 70 commercials, teaching one day intensives and helping numerous people break into the lucrative world of commercials; I was inspired to write this book for YOU!
I’ll take you through the process of how to get started, no matter where you live, what to do once you’re ready to go, and how to get the most jobs possible. I have also included many of my own experiences that will not only educate, but also entertain and inspire.
And as a little bonus to you, I’ll give you access to lists of commercial agents and casting directors across the country. As these offices come and go and change locations, I’ve decided to post them on my website so I can update them frequently for you.
But wait, there’s more:
I’ve also interviewed various agents, casting directors and directors from across the country… doesn’t hurt to get a little inside information.

Disclaimer
I am not a licensed psychotherapist, or a child development specialist or a marriage and family counselor. I am a single mom who came from a divorced home and I have spent numerous hours with those professionals listed above seeking help for myself. What you are about to read is how I got through the process of hating my ex. I personally like how-to books and I couldn’t find one specifically on this subject, so I decided to figure it out myself and write about it along the way. If any portion of this book helps you in any way, shape or form, I am grateful.
Foreword
How to Stop Hating Your Ex, So You Can Co-Parent in Peace comes as a valuable resource for any parent going through a divorce. I have found it to be extremely unique in the brutal honesty that was disclosed by René Ashton’s journey through a painful co-parenting relationship and custody matter. If you are a parent in a divorce, you will surely identify with her regardless of your gender and learn from her shared strengths and weaknesses. The exercises in this book are ones that promote your own honesty and encourage you to remain engaged in prioritizing your child’s needs. It will hold you accountable for being responsive to their development and well being. This accountability can raise your esteem and challenge you to reach your potential to be an optimal role model as the mother or father your child deserves. This book will become a “must-read” and “must-do” form of therapeutic homework for the clients in my practice in years to come.
