C.J. McNeil
I'm in my thirties, raising two children who inspire me every day. I make sure that I write for an hour each day, usually during their nap time and my goal is to write fiction that makes people wonder if there's some sort of truth behind my plotlines. I've traveled extensively around the world and as soon as I find a suitable picture of myself, I will swap for this one of my reading glasses.

In 1969, a Swiss Guard is murdered in Vatican City. His wife, Francesca, and three-year-old son, Tomassino, flee to the United States.
Thirty years later, Francesca is on her death bed. Her son, now known as Trevor, has grown into a well-respected Miami priest. As he administers his mother’s last rites, she begins to tell him what really happened to his father. Unfortunately, Francesca dies before revealing the whole truth, leaving Trevor with many tormenting questions. Obsessed with discovering the truth, Trevor travels to Vatican City under the guise of a church trip. But the truth doesn’t come easy. Trevor’s questions are met with resistance and death follows his every move.
What began as a quest for information turns into a life and death struggle for Trevor and his four students — where survival hinges on a secret pact made during World War II that could cripple Roman Catholicism if it ever saw the light of day.
